We Love What We Do

The Inspired Living at Alpharetta Team

Our team of highly trained professionals is dedicated to providing our residents with top-notch hospitality and individualized care. Unlike the common practice in other communities where universal staff work across all departments and care levels, we designate specialty teams under each department. Each associate is specially trained for their specific role in the community, helping them focus on being the very best at what they do.

Inspired Living at Alpharetta strives to employ people who are passionate about senior care, and our team represents many of the industry’s best and brightest talent, working at the top of their game. We are proud of these men and women and the work they do every day at Inspired Living at Alpharetta. If you would like to join our team, apply here!

Meet Your Executive Director

Armando Cardenas

How did you get into senior living?

It was truly by luck, I was running a Home Care business in Florida and while marketing in the local community I ran into assisted living Communities that were being built in my hometown. I happened to look in the newspaper while I was in Vero Beach Florida and I saw a help wanted ad for a GM in Training position. I applied and was fortunate to have been chosen for the position. 20 years later I still love the industry.

Who inspires you?

My father, to look back and see what he accomplished during his lifetime has amazed me.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

For the last 15 years I have traveled and collected MLB autographs during the Spring Training Season. I now have a room full of memorabilia. I have also been to all of the Spring Training stadiums in Florida.

Beatles or Elvis?

The Beatles

How did you wind up at Inspired Living?

I have been fortunate to have made many business relationships in my line of work. My wife has also worked in this industry indirectly. Many years ago, I was introduced to Zach Zerbonia. Zach and I have spoken in the past about me coming on as an Executive Director for companies he had worked for in the past. This past November the opportunity presented itself again and I decided that the opportunity with ILA worked best for my family and I.

What do you want your legacy to be?

I want my children and the people that I associate with to remember me as a person who always accepted a challenge and did everything possible to make a success out of the challenge. Living by the motto If you can’t find a way, create one.
