Being social, making new friends, and taking part in new activities all have a number of health benefits. Not only are these activities good for your mental health and cognitive function, but they are also good for your body, too. They help reduce the risks of high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, and even osteoporosis. Inspired Living offers a rich calendar of onsite and offsite activities and events, designed to keep residents entertained, engaged, and educated each and every day.
The six dimensions of wellness
As part of our Thrive wellness program, each community has a Resident Engagement Director whose sole purpose is to make living with us rewarding and fun. They create a full calendar of weekly events and activities designed to engage residents in the six dimensions of wellness.

Home Sweet Home is a program designed to ensure that all new residents receive a warm and inviting welcome when moving into our community. We literally roll out a red carpet, and our associates gather around to welcome you or your loved one as you enter the community on move-in day.
A select group of residents is chosen as our Welcome Ambassadors. These friendly folks welcome our new residents with open arms, introducing new residents to others in the community, inviting them to join a group at meals and activities. Whether a new resident is from another state, or just down the road, everyone has plenty of opportunities to meet new friends and form lasting relationships.
“From day one, it was clear that Inspired Living considered themselves our partners in giving Mom the best life possible. With every time we visit and every person we meet, it becomes more obvious that they are welcoming all of us — not just Mom — into the Inspired Living family.”
– Shirley Lusk, daughter of resident
