Meet Your Executive Director

Luis Carrillo

How did you get into senior living?

Since the start of my career I enjoyed working in the senior living industry. My first experience was working for an Assisted Living and Independent living community 20 years ago. The wealth of knowledge and experience that our seniors provide is priceless. Providing care and support to our seniors has been a focus of mine. The support has included emotional, social, and spiritual. I look forward in my journey to providing support to our residents at Inspired Living at Lewisville.

Who truly inspires you?

My family, staff, and those whom I serve. I strongly believe we have a moral responsibility to help others in their own journey. It can be from mentoring your kids to helping a person in need. We are all part of a big puzzle of life that can impact others in a positive way.

A thing people would be surprised to know about you?

At one time I used to have three horses. One horse was used for roping, the second was for my daughter and the third one was being trained to racing. Great memories with our friends and family.

Beatles or Elvis?

Elvis was a pioneer in his own time. He made such a huge impact in the entertainment industry and with so many people. Even now, we all remember an Elvis song when we were growing up.

How did you wind up at Inspired Living?

My love and passion in the Assisted and Memory care living industry brought me back. I recently started looking for a company that aligned with my core values. I was so impressed with the mission statement and what Inspire Living represents. The leadership team, staff, families, and friends have been so welcoming in being part of their family.

What do you want your legacy to be?

The ability to make a difference in a person’s life is very important. I would love to be remembered as someone that helped people and took the time in doing so. Making a positive impact can be passed on to others and future leaders.
