Why did you get into senior living?

After graduating high school, I went into corrections. It wasn’t long after that, I was inspired by my sister-in-law to be a nurse. She was always coming home from work happy, and I wanted that feeling! I went back to school and graduated the nursing program in 2008. I started my nursing career in senior living, left and went into psych nursing and returned to senior living after missing it!

Who truly inspires you?

My grandpa inspired me. He was a very hard worker and instilled old fashioned work ethic in me.

A thing people would be surprised to know about you?

People would be surprised to know that I dream about having a useless farm outside of work. Some highland cows, chickens, emus and llama.

Beatles or Elvis?

Definitely Elvis and those love songs! 

How did you wind up at Inspired Living?

I moved to Florida in 2010 to live where people vacation. I ended up at Inspired when I moved to Tampa and lived right down the block from the Tampa location. That’s where is all started. 

What do you want your legacy to be?

To know that my life made a difference in others by dedicating it to the service of humanity.
